People often ask me how farming, community building, early education, and midwifery are all connected. From the outside, they might seem like completely different worlds. But for me, they all grow from the exact same root: nurturing life.
The Personal Mission & Vision
It started with nurturing the soil at EMU Farm to produce pure, life-giving food. But as I watched things grow, I realized that true well-being wasn’t just about what we eat.
It’s about nurturing our community so that we feel a sense of belonging (Africa One People).
It’s about nurturing the minds of our children from the very start, preparing them for a bright future (Catch Them Young).
And it’s about nurturing life at its most precious and foundational moment—birth (Traveling Midwife Service).
Whether it’s a seed in the ground, an idea in a child’s mind, or a new baby entering the world, my work is about cultivating the potential for healthy, vibrant life. Each initiative is just a different branch of the same tree, and I am so grateful to be able to share this journey with all of you.
